OWEN BULLETT
Owen Bullett creates dynamic sculptures, which often communicate a sense of barely held restraint through their elegance and poise. The focal point of his solo show at Marsden Woo Project Space in 2010 was ‘Portal’, an installation work in which the massive presence of a carved and curved oak tree was spiralled into the space. He studied Sculpture at Camberwell College of Art (2000-2003) and the Royal College of Art (2003-2005), and has since exhibited internationally. He has undertaken a number of artist residencies including Poustina Land Art Park, Belize (2006), A Vos Arts, Rennes, France (2007) and Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh (2008). Bullett’s work can be found in the collections of Ernst & Young and Redbridge Borough Council,UK; Rennes Metropole, France; Poustina Land Art Park, Belize; and in numerous private collections.
