Studio: Ceramicists and their studios was an exhibition of photographs by Phil Sayer at the Ruthin Craft Centre, on display throughout May – June 2010. This publication reproduces images of the studios of the most prominent ceramicists working in the UK today, a large number of which are represented by the Marsden Woo Gallery. Sayer captures the identities of these artists through visual references to the way in which they work; from the tools they use to chairs they sit on and the objects they surround themselves with.
